Sjoerd moved to Berlin after completing his Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts in the Netherlands. He quickly gained attention with his techno live set and founded the Keller label. As a drummer in a variety of post-rock bands, he performed on TV and radio, and toured across Europe and Asia.
He received his Ableton-certified training in 2012 and started teaching for institutions including Noisy Academy while running his own Electronic Music Production camps. As a co-founder of Kickstarter-funded company ACPAD – the world’s first wireless MIDI controller for acoustic guitar – he focuses on creating software and hardware solutions for musicians, including gesture gloves with wearable technology.
