Philipp Schwenzer

Music Business Lecturer

Philipp holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication for Business and Society from the Berlin University of the Arts, where he examined new perspectives on music marketing in collaboration with Universal Music. Coaching and consulting musicians, artistic individuals, creative professionals and start-up companies, he has a strong focus on business model design, creative and strategic marketing, artist and image development, branding, storytelling, and digital and social media.

A certified systemic integrative coach, he has worked on a wide array of marketing projects for music business clients across both classical and pop/modern genres, including C. Bechstein pianos, the Berlin Philharmonic Piano Quartet, Jazz Radio Berlin and THEODORE, as well as many on behalf of the digital studio Ag Prop (Rammstein, Volbeat, Knorkator, Kilian Kerner). Outside of this, he co-founded and undertakes marketing for the annual ¡Agua! Berlin Cuban Salsa festival, lectures regularly in music across Berlin, and enjoys dabbling in crooning and electronic music production.
