Danny Byrom, Max Boughen, Joe Caple and Guy Jones are BIMM Brighton band, Wild Cat Strike.
Part rock, part folk, part alternative and part acoustic, the band like to mix things up, and in their own words explore “the manic shift between harmonious beauty and cacophony”. It makes for interesting listening and plenty of others agree – with the TWO THREE FOUR Festival describing their set as “truly believable stories of epic proportions delivered with an utterly convincing performance” and the Outroversion blog enthusiastically proclaiming “you have no idea how good these guys are”.
Getting out and about, particularly around Brighton, is what Wild Cat Strike do best. They’ve rocked the Alternative Great Escape; and have supported JAKOB and Written In Waters at Small Pond Recordings; The Xcerts at The Haunt; and Big Society, Gang of Youths and Glass City Vice at Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar. But they’ve toured further afield too, supporting Broken Records at The Borderline in London, Tigercub in Liverpool, and playing at 2000trees festival in the Cotswolds.
They’ve received radio airplay on the Totally Brighton show on Juice FM and on the UK’s longest running internet radio station, Totallyradio.
The band are excited to present their music to even more people this summer, when they play Derbyshire’s Y Not Festival and share a bill with Snoop Dog, Basement Jaxx and Primal Scream. We know they’re going to go down a storm!
