A native of Dublin, Rebecca grew up in a musical family, studying classical piano and singing from a very early age.
Rebecca holds a BA in Jazz Performance from Newpark School of Music and has studied under Ronan Guilfoyle, Jay Clayton, Dorothy Murphy and Norma Winstone, among others. She also studied vocal technique with Sheila McCarthy for a number of years. Since then, Rebecca has spent a lot of time researching vocal technique across all vocal styles.
Combining this research with her own experience as a professional singer, her vocal teaching approach is based upon the most current and up-to-date research. Rebecca performs regularly in Dublin and around Ireland, working with some of the country’s top musicians at venues including the National Concert Hall in Dublin, where she had a sell-out performance in 2012 with her quintet.
Recently Rebecca has been writing songs which she plans to record for her debut album.
