Poppy teaches Event Management at BIMM Institute Bristol. Running Event Control at two of the UK’s most exciting festivals; Glastonbury and Boomtown, Poppy is also Festival Manager of Tokyo World in Bristol alongside lecturing.

Over the past 15 years her career has built from stage managing to running her own events, having founded three successful shows, to now working at the top of the country’s most prestigious music festivals. A key player in the Bristol Music Industry she lead the reinvigoration of Bristol’s community festival from the Harbourside in 2008 back to Ashton Court in 2012 & 2013 as Brisfest CEO.

Repeatedly featuring in the city’s Arts and Power Lists, she was a founding member of the Bristol Festivals forum, co-chair of the Bristol Music Industry Network and a trustee for the Bristol Music Trust (who run Colston Hall) for four years.

Moving into international waters, Poppy has managed events for clients such as Adidas, Oakley and Virgin Media across Europe and in the U.S.A. as well as a number of food and music events more locally. Her roles span Producing, Planning, Operations, Licensing, Logistics
