Jim Clark
Senior Lecturer, Guitar *
Jim teaches Guitar at BIMM Music Institute London. He is in great demand as a top session guitarist and in 2002 was voted runner up in the ‘Guitarist of the Year’ competition run by Guitarist magazine. He’s worked on a multitude of projects for independent artists and record companies, as well as on radio and TV themes and soundtracks, both here and in the US.
Jim has written and transcribed for Guitar Techniques magazine, he writes the Rock Guitar column in Guitarist magazine and he’s appeared in a professional capacity on CNN News. As an educator, Jim is highly experienced both as a teacher, having taught extensively at all levels including degree, and as an instructor for the International Guitar Foundation. He’s worked with Grammy Award winning composer, David Arnold (James Bond, Independence Day) and David McAlmont, among others.
