James Chambers

Associate Lecturer, Video and Multimedia

James is a Manchester born Hip Hop artist with 16 years’ experience in the music industry working and performing alongside artists such as; Doc Brown, The Mouse Outfit, Talib Kweli and Dead Prez.

He is also known for being one of the Manchester artists invited to freestyle with Kendrick Lamar in a cypher that went viral as part of the promotional campaign for Reebok Classics. He has headlined numerous shows at The Deaf Institute, Band on The Wall and Proud Camden and is known to generate a large amount of hype with big crowds.

Alongside his music career James is also an avid videographer, pioneering video promotions for his own musical projects. Having graduated from Edge Hill with a degree in Film and Television in 2011, James is looking to share his knowledge and experience in Songwriting, Music Production, Promotion, Videography and much more.
