Hugh Neal
Music Production Lecturer
Hugh teaches Music Production at BIMM Institute London. He is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer, has been performing, recording and writing music for over 15 years, and currently runs his own studio, mixing, engineering and writing alongside production team Ghost Cut Music.
Having worked in almost every aspect of contemporary music, he has a vast knowledge base and wealth of experience. Live works include performing alongside the likes of James McCartney, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Ian Paice (Deep Purple), touring Europe, America and Canada, and featuring on TV shows such as The Late Show with David Letterman(NYC), the Late Late Show (Dublin) and Good Day L.A.
Other works include recording with producers David Kahne (Paul McCartney, The Strokes), Keith Uddin (The Cure) and Martin YouthGlover (Killing Joke), with sessions at prestigious studios such as Abbey Road and Metropolis London.
