Colin Schrinner
Associate Lecturer, Music Business
Colin teaches Music Business at BIMM Institute Hamburg. He is Country Manager for TuneCore Germany, being responsible for artist & entertainment relations.
Dedicated to reaching and connecting with Germany’s independent music community, Colin is establishing events and networking sessions throughout the country to ensure that artists can earn a living from their music.
He comes with previous experience as Manager Streaming at Warner Music Group Germany. Working in the digital sales department, Colin was responsible for streaming operations across platforms like Deezer, YouTube, Tidal and Napster.
Colin has also freelanced as a broadcast journalist and sat on the Music Board of 1LIVE in Cologne, reviewing albums, interviewing artists and producing editorial pieces.
Colin has earned a Master of Science from Northeastern University in Music Industry Leadership, as well as a Master of Arts in North American Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies and Sound Studies from the University of Bonn.
Colin is an avid piano player and even dabbles in hip hop.
