Alex Lacey
Drum Lecturer
Alex has been a professional drummer for over fifteen years. He has worked as a session drummer for multiple bands signed to the Italian record label, Frontiers Music Srl who are best known for acts such as Whitesnake, Jeff Lynne, Toto, Journey, Glenn Hughes, Styx, Yes and many more.
Throughout his work touring around the UK and Europe, he is also co band leader for the highly successful award-winning function band, The Funtime Frankies, taking the Wedding Industry Awards best National Band in both 2017 and 2018 and now judging the award category since 2019. In addition to countless gigs and recording sessions for all types of artists throughout the years, he has also recorded live BBC sessions and held a six-year-long residency playing for the Hard Rock Cafe franchise.
